GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY

GET TO KNOW ME
Background Information
I first discovered my love of gardening in 2012 while restoring my late grandmothers garden. As a child, I spent a lot of time with my grandmothers who allowed me to “help” them in the garden. I didn’t realize how much I had knowledge I had absorbed from them until I was on my own. Since then, my partner William and I have built our current garden from complete scratch. Throughout this process I have documented the growth of our garden and shared it with others via social media. My personal garden style continues to mature and grow with each season and I hope to share some of my knowledge with you.

POTTING SHED ORGANIZATION
A work space should be easy to work in. A place for everything, and everything in its place. For my potting shed, I hung peg board on the walls, and picked up peg board accessories from my local hardware store. This allowed me to maximize my wall space, while also using it as a way to show off the tools. A utility space is a lot of fun to work in when it’s well organized and suited for your needs.
TOPIARIES
Topiaries have become a staple in my garden. The crisp geometric shapes provide a bit of formality against the lush and free-form landscape. I have really enjoyed introducing different shapes and textures throughout the garden. Spreading the topiaries throughout the landscape has allowed for continued visual interest and continuous flow of style and form.
